This mattress  reacts to the heat of the body and moulds itself to the occupant’s posture and goes back to its normal form when the occupant  moves. This is of great use in  hospitals and nursing homes where patients who are bedridden get bed sores from normal mattresses. Due to the heavy weight a  memory foam mattress has, some companies manufacture a memory foam mattress topper. This is more light weight yet has similar  features like the memory foam mattress. The memory foam topper goes on top of a normal mattress thus providing you support  yet the pressure you require. Memory foam pillows are also available similarly. This pillow also provides excellent support  to the neck and head and goes back to its original structure after the occupant vacates the bed. Many people vouch by the  memory foam mattress and it is gathering popularity.
